Multiscal AI Audit is a 100% local browser extension. It performs all AI-readiness audits entirely within your browser. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any of your browsing data, page content, or personal information.

2. No Server Communication

The extension makes zero external API calls. All analysis (including scoring across 24 AI optimization pillars) runs locally using JavaScript and browser APIs. Your data never leaves your device.

3. Local Storage Only

For convenience, Multiscal AI Audit may store audit results locally in your browser's chrome.storage or IndexedDB — but only to enable features like:

Historical tracking and trend charts
Site-wide audit history
Impact simulator state
User preferences

These are client-side only and can be cleared at any time via browser settings.

4. Third-Party Libraries

We use vanilla JavaScript with no external frameworks or third-party libraries. All analysis logic is built in-house and runs entirely locally without external dependencies.

5. Permissions Used

The extension requires the following permissions solely for local analysis:

activeTab: Access the current tab's content for analysis
storage: Save audit results and preferences locally
scripting: Inject content scripts to analyze page structure
sidePanel: Display the site-wide audit dashboard
